Realize now that Yahweh has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it. - 1 Chronicles 28:10

Near the end of his life on earth, David reminded his son, Solomon that he was God's choice to serve as king and complete the Temple and then he added, "Be strong, and do it."
Are you God's chosen? If you truly belong to Him, then the answer is, "yes." And, as with Solomon, being God's choice requires some action on your part. God desires you to do something with your life. While you may not build a temple, God has provided you with a temple that He expects you to use to build His Kingdom. The problem is not that we lack a task, but if we are honest, we sometimes may lack the initiative.
When you became a follower of Christ, He said (through the Holy Spirit), "Be strong, and do it." If we fail, it is usually because we lack the courage and give up; therefore, let us remember the goal and remain courageous, for we truly cannot fail if God be truly glorified by the effort.
Perseverance - a lowly virtue whereby mediocrity achieves an inglorious success. - Ambrose Bierce
