Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward." - Exodus 14:15
Solomon tells us there is a time for every season under heaven.
With that in mind, could there be a time when a servant of Christ should cease praying and begin doing? Too often we leave prayer as a "last resort," as in, "when all else fails, pray!" Yet, there may also be those times in life when we, in fear and disobedience, remain locked in our inactivity crying out for God to intervene in our circumstances, yet He has already commanded us to "go forward."
Certainly, it makes no sense to act without clear direction from the Lord (our Commander-in-Chief), but likewise it is just as nonsensical to act as if the Lord's general commands had never been uttered. Do we really lack anything we truly need to obey?
Let us humbly seek His face daily, then get up and go forward.
I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act. - G. K. Chesterton
