"You know the way where I am going." "Lord," Thomas said, "we don't know where You're going. How can we know the way?" Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." - John 14:4-6
Sometimes we find ourselves in a position that requires us to choose between two seemingly equal paths. It is not a choice between right and wrong, but rather a choice between right and, well, right. So, how do we decide which path is more "right?" When Thomas told Jesus that he did not know the way, Jesus gave a simple answer. He said, "I am." He told Thomas that the way of truth and life, the path to the Father's greatest glory, was found in Him. Which path is more "right?" The answer is to find Christ in whichever path you choose. No matter what else may be achieved or accomplished by your decision, He is your only Way. He is your only Truth. He is your only Life.
Discernment is not a matter of simply telling the difference between right and wrong; rather it is telling the difference between right and almost right. - Charles Spurgeon
