With Him?

When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with YHWH, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. He spoke to him [that way]. - Numbers 7:89

Have you heard God's voice? If not, why not?

In order for Moses to hear God's voice, he first had to enter God's presence. Yet, for a Christ-follower, God is always present (Christ in you the hope of glory). So, if a person isn't hearing God's voice, it is not a problem with His presence. It is rather a problem with ours.

You see, though God is always present in us, we often don't listen to Him. We're too busy, preoccupied, and distracted. For example, His Word is readily available for most of us, but we cannot find the time to read it. He is always as close as a conversation, but we don't take the time to engage. As God spoke to Moses in the Holy of Holies, He is able and will speak to you, through His Word, that you might also reflect His glory.

He is with you, but are you with Him?

Some people talk about finding God - as if He could get lost. - Unknown
